I premi Pulitzer 2011

Questa notte negli Stati Uniti sono stati assegnati i premi Pulitzer del 2011, il prestigioso riconoscimento per il giornalismo, la letteratura e la musica. Il premio venne istituito per volontà, e in memoria, del giornalista Ungherese-Americano, e editore statunitense, Joseph Pulitzer. Alla sua morte, 1911, Pulitzer lasciò parte della sua eredità alla Columbia University di New York che la utilizzò per aprire, l’anno dopo, la Scuola di giornalismo dell’università. Il primo premio Pulitzer venne invece assegnato nel 1917.
